About the ingredients:
One of the main constituents in cayenne is capsaicin. When this is applied topically, it helps to reduce and relieve pain causing an almost instant numbing effect. The reason capsaicin works so well for pain relief is because it blocks a neurotransmitter called Substance P. This neurotransmitter is responsible for transmitting pain signals from the nerves to the central nervous system.
Ginger has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine for variety of conditions including arthritis and muscle pain. It is known for its anti-inflammatory capability as well as warming ability which has been shown to help improve circulation while relieving tension in achy muscles.
Directions:
Use daily for pain relief. Some have experienced immediate relief but it may take up to two weeks of regular use to see results. Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid keeping in direct sunlight. If softening occurs, place in the refrigerator to re-harden.
