Rosehip Oil: Rosehip oil is extracted from the hip of the rose - the fruit that is left once the rose has finished flowering and dropped its petals. Rosehip oil has several skin benefits. Rosehip oil is a a natural source of the essential fatty acids omega 3,6 and 9, which convert to prostaglandins when absorbed through the skin. These prostaglandins repair and regenerate damaged skin tissue. It is that regeneration that can provide anti aging benefits. The oil is also a natural source of vitamin C which is a skin brightening, anti-aging antioxidant that helps to improve the appearance of pigmentation and restore skin tone while also helping to protect skin from the sun. Rosehip oil is also a natural source of the powerful antioxidants lycopene and beta carotene. Directions:
